I could have been knitting or at the very least watching the very interesting program on TV but there I was running in ends, instead. AND I kept on doing it even after it occurred to me that I should really be doing other things. I think - is this possible? - it's growing on me!Mary Keenanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05260934319762115179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2023057129228541740.post-32734821047794697382013-12-11T11:01:38.941-05:002013-12-11T11:01:38.941-05:00Leslie, thanks for that link! I think I've done that technique before but only intuitively... which is to say, not mindfully enough to remember to do it again sometime when it would be really useful :^)Mary Keenanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05260934319762115179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2023057129228541740.post-10111945452862810752013-12-11T00:43:29.056-05:002013-12-11T00:43:29.056-05:00Too bad we live so far apart, I dont mind kitchene...Too bad we live so far apart, I dont mind kitchenering toes or sewing in ends. Sock knitting for me though is something I do because its practical, not because I love it. If we lived closer we could work together to be a sock knitting maschine!UmmRaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12656810637069590405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2023057129228541740.post-65588915512193980422013-12-10T09:51:34.278-05:002013-12-10T09:51:34.278-05:00I love the orange socks! I'm envisioning loads of mis-matched stripey socks. (cringe if you need to!)

On weaving in ends. There's a clip on Knitting Daily TV where Euny Jang shows how to do this and it's so easy and perfect and wonderful that I always use it now when I start new yarns. Except for the super-slipper stuff it's a great join.
