Saturdays are so great for knitting, aren't they? Especially when there's zero enticement to go out.
Pete gave me this Jellycat macaron for Christmas and she has been perching in my knitting basket lately for extra cheer. (her name is Wendy but some call her Wendicula, some being Not Me.)
It is just so grey outside!
Even the squirrels and mice haven't bothered with our deck lately, which is rare for them. It's like a dance floor out there normally.
Anyhoo, most of my attention this week went to some writing deadlines but I've been making progress with the second sock nonetheless:
Got it over the heel, and now I have to catch up to the other sock by finishing the gusset.
Mandatory chompy sock pic:
And while I've been typing this, the sun came out!
Maybe I should joi.... nope, gone again.
Well, I think I might sneak out for a walk anyway, even though it is still pretty cold. That's what wool's for, right?
Hope you're having a lovely day, with some sun in it ideally. Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you next week!
