Canada Day plus versatile knitting needles

This is what life should look like all the time, don't you think?

Okay, maybe spinning in a comfy old rocking chair at a cottage is not for everybody... but right now it's kind of a dream for me.  That and unlimited nap time: yum!  (the nap time thing? not happening.)

It's Canada Day which matters where I live - in Canada - so after a few days of light posts I am offering yet another light post.  Hello: vacation!

But I do have one more image to share that would make my engineer Dad proud:

A couple of days ago I was in the vicinity of somebody who needed to improvise an IV pole, and when I saw these cupboard doors I knew exactly how to do it.

Isn't it lucky that I switched over to testing my nickel-plated metal double points instead of the Pony Pearl plastic ones, and keep a sock project in my purse all the time?

Okay, time to get back to spinning because all that roving isn't going to transform itself, and it is after all Tour de Fleece even though I did ignore it yesterday in favour of swimming and watching fireworks and stuff.  Go Canada!

Have a great day wherever you live and I will see you tomorrow.
